SASSA Takes Services to Fernie Neighborhood

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently visiting the Fernie 2 Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers on the community.

SASSA will probably be rendering services such as new social grant applications, change of payment method, client treatment enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency stated it is actually alarmed concerning the significant number of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The aim on the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a higher variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“That is mainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no totally functional office committed to service the area regularly. The service stage developed for intervention activities a significant click here influx of probable beneficiaries, that makes it complicated with the Workplace to attend to all people who pay a visit to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise far more methods to empower the servicing of all shoppers and increase access to Social Assistance services,” the agency said.
